Our Story

Prior to Tuscan, Shagun was a Vice-President at ICICI Ventures, India’s largest private equity fund.

Shagun gained several years of experience in private equity placements in India, closing 5 deals with total equity investment of approximately US$100 million. Prior to ICICI Ventures, Shagun spent three years in the corporate finance team at Rabo India Finance. While at Rabo, Shagun worked on mergers and acquisitions and private equity placements across various industries including IT, BPO and biotechnology.

Shagun is a Cum Laude Double Major in Economics and Biology, Tufts University and holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Sanjiv has over two and a half decades of experience in infrastructure projects and large scale project management.

In his capacity as Director, ColdStar Logistics, Sanjiv spearheads ColdStar’s build out of new projects as well as day-to-day management of business.

Prashant has 17 years of experience in both Ambient as well as Temperature Controlled Distribution and Logistics.

Prior to this, Prashant worked for a very long tenure with RK Foodland, starting as an Associate to Dy.GM – Quick Service Restaurants , responsible for managing operations for top QSR brands. In his previous positions he worked with Narangs Hospitality Services as – Head SCM , responsible for setting up of complete Distribution & Logistics infrastructure for the organisation. He was also part of Reliance Retail and headed its 1st Distribution Centre in Mumbai.

Prashant started his career with RK Foodland in 1996. Prashant is a Post graduate in SCM from Mumbai University.

Ameya comes with 10+ years of experience in auditing, finance structuring, tax structuring and IPO compliances. Prior to joining ColdStar he worked at one of the Big Four Auditing Firms, heading Statutory & Tax audits for real estate, manufacturing, FMCG, infrastructure, oil & gas industry clients.

At ColdStar, Ameya is responsible for accounting operations of the company. He is also responsible for setting financial controls and policies as per international standards.
